Ashley Halphen

Ash is a highly regarded trial barrister with jury appeal and forensic skill. He is committed to the privilege of acting for individuals heavily challenged by their circumstances.

Ash has been recognised over a number of consecutive years by Doyle’s Guide in both the Victorian and Australian rankings.

His advocacy skills are informed by his vast trial experience and the important work he has undertaken over the years in jurisdictions in the United States, West Africa, Mongolia and various remote locations in the Kimberleys and the Northern Territory.

Ash is dedicated to empowering local lawyers in more developing jurisdictions abroad and has conducted advocacy training in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Nauru and Uganda.
