Dylan Ioannou-Booth

Dylan appears as defence counsel in criminal and quasi-criminal matters in Victoria and interstate. Prior to being called to the Bar, Dylan was an Associate to Her Honour Judge Nola Karapanagiotidis at the County Court of Victoria. He also worked as a solicitor at a criminal defence firm.

Outside of the Bar, Dylan lectures at the University of Melbourne, and he is also completing his Master of Laws at the Australian National University.

Dylan has volunteer experience with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and various community legal centres. He regularly works interstate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander legal services including the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA), and the Aboriginal Legal Service of Western Australia (ALSWA).
