Travis Brown

Travis's principal area of practice is in criminal defence.

Since coming to the Bar, Travis has appeared in a wide range of matters, including Supreme Court bail applications, County Court pleas and appeals and as junior counsel both at trial and in the Court of Appeal. Travis also appears in contested summary hearings and committal hearings in the Magistrates’ Court as well as intervention order proceedings.

Prior to his career in the law, Travis was a bookseller and bookshop owner for more than 15 years. A proud member of Niagara Lane Chambers, his practice is underpinned by broadminded life experience and the perseverance required to pursue his beliefs.
